Holiday Bookfest 2023
Phinney Center, Saturday, November 18, 2-4 pm
Come join us at the 14th edition of our neighborhood tradition: the Holiday Bookfest, where local readers get to meet more than two dozen local writers and purchase signed books for themselves and everyone on your holiday shopping list. Our wonderful lineup includes fiction and nonfiction, cookbooks, picture books, and books for tweens and teens. It’s two fun and fairly frenzied hours that bring Seattle’s fabulous readers together with some of Seattle’s most beloved writers.
Along with the author signings, a selection of authors will be reading from their books, and Greenwood’s Bureau of Fearless Ideas tutoring center will create an interactive Bookmakers Space, where new or seasoned writers can put together a tiny zine to take home or contribute some stories to the Comically Large Book.
We at Phinney Books will be handling book sales, and a portion of the day's sales will be donated to our nonprofit partners, the Bureau of Fearless Ideas and the Phinney Neighborhood Association.
